My 2015 FLORA calendar features 12 of my floral illustrations that I've created over the years. They range in style from art nouveau inspired florals to more free flowing looser ink and watercolors. I love sketching flowers and nature. I find drawing from life very soothing. It is also a necessary step to creating from your imagination.  A fantasy creation, whether flora or fauna that is based on your observations of reality becomes all the more believable. I wish I had more time to make more of my sketches into finished art.
